So the squash moths don’t lay eggs on the leaf stems, only the main stem which you wrapped? Is that correct? My problem was deer pulling out the plants, but that’s another story!

Oh crap. I just killed those stink bugs. I’m new to Georgia and did not have them in California.

My mom has been making these for decades and it's the best. She makes it from roots and with pork fat. I got injured knees and back from dancing and this healed me in like a month! I now make it for my husband whose sprained ankle healed in less than a week 😊

He truly is missed!! I am just learning of his passing today. I was looking at old emails between us on purchasing comfrey. He is the reason I started growing my own. What a gem!!

I wrapped mine and it worked until they attacked the leaf stems😢. Last week I sprayed with Spinosad and it seemed to help but this week I see bigger again, so I am going to inject with bt.

OAG you are a treasure and are missed! For those reading who tried this and it did not work, it wasn't you. The SVB that attack my garden lay eggs all down the vine, even if the vine is twenty feet long. I still recommend people follow his tip because it does work for some people. I've found some other strategies though. Some of us just have too high a population for the foil to work. OAG would want us to keep trying. RIP garden friend.

Last year, I canned squash this way. I am happy to report that a year later I pulled out the last jar, it tasted so good. The squash was still firm for pan frying.

Do you happen to use the banana peel in water soaked or blended and then apply to your gardening? I tried and it helped a bit of the dryness looking on a few, made them health looking, not sure if that's a temp - do you recommend or should I try another method for long term growth?
